Spoleto
Magnificently preserved Medieval City with an impressive number of artistic treasures.
Spoleto is the most well preserved Medieval city of the Umbrian region. Jewels in Spoleto's crown: the imposing Ponte delle Torri, the Church of St Eufemia, and the Cathedral rich in Byzantine mosaics. In June and July Spoleto hosts a world famous prose, music and dance event, the Festival dei Due Modi.
