Massa Martana Hotel Collection

Halfway between Terni and Perugia, framed by the Martani Mountains, Massa Martana's proximity to the Via Flaminia meant that it was already known in ancient Roman times, period in which the town's Fonnaio bridge was erected, using great blocks of travertine.

Today Massa Martana greats the visitor in all its medieval splendour. Protected within the town's massif perimeter walls there are buildings of great historic and artistic interest, including the 16th century Palazzo del Comune and bell tower, the Church of San Felice, and the Church of San Sebastiano.

The surrounding area will not disappoint either, home to any number of medieval castles and ancient houses of worship, such as the Church of Santa Maria Pantano and the Abbey of San Fidenzio and Terenzio. A nature lover's paradise, the enchanting Umbrian countryside is ideal walking territory.
