Tenuta di Canonica Todi

The Tenuta di Canonica, is situated just 5kms away from the medieval hill top town of Todi, immersed in the Umbrian countryside amidst the olive groves and fruit orchards which characterise the Tiber Valley.

The Tenuta di Canonica is composed of a cluster of three stone structures, each built in a different period, the foundations of the oldest being of Roman origin. During the middle ages the lookout tower was built and, at the beginning of the 1900's, the building with portico overlooking the valley and the town of Todi was added. Guests enjoy moments of complete relaxation in the intimate reading room or in the spacious lounge with its soaring vaulted ceilings and large open fireplace.

The Tenuta di Canonica has individually appointed bedrooms and junior suites featuring fabulous exposed wooden beam ceilings, and furnished with beautiful pieces of antique furniture, exquisite bed linen, sweeping drapes and ornate floor rugs.

A delicious buffet breakfast of fresh bread, brioches and cakes is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens. In the independent villa near the swimming pool, two mini- apartments each with kitchenette and separate entrance are available. In the gardens of the Tenuta, the panoramic swimming pool, offers breathtaking views over the Tiber Valley.
