Castello Petroia dates back to the 12th century, when it was built as stronghold to guard over the territory surrounding the nearby medieval city of Gubbio. Guest bedrooms and suites are distributed in three distinct buildings: the "Castellare maggiore", the "Castellare minore", and the "Mastio".
